The Foundation believes that children need more than academic work; play and physical activity are essential to their well-being and development. While supporting at-risk children and youth in their academic success, the Foundation also offers free sports programs—including basketball, soccer, and swimming lessons—that help participants develop critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and team spirit. These activities are open to at-risk children and youth, including new immigrants.
